Angela Zappia is the director of development at Accessity. Angela has experience in nonprofit administration, the financial sector, compliance, and community and economic development. She has worked in fund development, grants management, and impact reporting at Accessity since 2016. She manages donor relations, grant writing and oversees all grant and reporting activities. Angela has a master’s degree in social work from San Diego State University and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of California, San Diego.

Do you have any pets?

I adopted two rescue animals — a cat named Stella and dog named Gypsy.

What’s your favorite movie?

My favorite movie is The Princess Bride because it has a little bit of every genre and it never gets old no matter how many times I watch it.
