We believe in opening doors of financial opportunity through our lending philosophy and relationship-based approach to working with clients. We meet entrepreneurs where they are, recognizing the determination, resilience, and experience they bring to building their businesses.
As a Community Development Financial Institution and mission-based lender, Accessity supports entrepreneurs who face barriers to responsible capital and business support, including low-income entrepreneurs, small businesses in underinvested communities, startups, and business owners with limited access to traditional financing. Through affordable loans, education, and trusted support, we help entrepreneurs build stronger businesses, livelihoods, and communities.

Small Businesses

Accessity believes that thriving small businesses are the foundation for a strong local economy. Our program ensures that entrepreneurs have access to the tools they need to start or grow their businesses and remain sustainable in the current economy.
Some of our clients start a business to supplement their employment income and thereby support their family, some have a dream of creating jobs for others, others have a novel idea or vision, or are talented artisans or skilled technicians. Wherever they are in their journey, we have a more than 30-year history of supporting business startups and expansions, and our clients see a higher success rate than the national average. 94% of Accessity-funded businesses remained open two-to-three years after their loan.

Accessity serves entrepreneurs across Southern California who are working to start, grow, and sustain their businesses. Many of our clients face barriers to responsible capital and have limited access to traditional financing through banks and credit unions. As a mission-based lender, Accessity is proud to provide flexible, affordable financing and trusted support to help entrepreneurs strengthen their businesses, livelihoods, and communities.
By providing loans ranging in size from $300 to $250,000, we enable our borrowers to increase their inventory, buy equipment or raw materials, and pursue new business opportunities. We also help entrepreneurs build favorable credit histories and improve their business skills through training events.
