Jesus Ruiz is a senior finance and compliance analyst at Accessity. He assesses internal controls and maintains compliance across the organization, including finance, lending, and grants pension management. Jesus is an experienced investment and financial analysis professional with several years in the financial industry. He joined the Accessity team in January 2021.

What were you doing prior to working for Accessity?

Prior to working here, I went on an origin trip to Chiapas on a consulting basis. The goal of this trip was to deploy seed capital and establish a microfinance fund for a collective of coffee growers.

What accomplishment are you proud of?

An accomplishment I’m particularly proud of is having lived out of my home state at least once in my life and moving to a place where I didn’t know anyone. During that time, I made friends playing pick-up soccer and engaging with the entrepreneurial tech community. This experience brought me back into social circles, not unlike back home, and renewed my appreciation for the communities that I am a part of.
